Here is what you need to put into your TXT records:
Name: _dmarc
Data: v=DMARC1;p=reject
TTL: 1 hour
The frustrating thing about this is I had no idea this needed to be done.
I thought you simply connect Mailgun to GoHighLevel using the SMTP credentials Mailgun provides, and that was it.
Well, I was definitely wrong.
This DMARC TXT record apparently makes a HUGE difference when determining if your emails go to spam or not.
Something to do with the digital signature and authentication of the sending address.
I don’t know. I have no idea what DMARC actually is.
All I know, is it made a significant improvement in my email deliverability score once I had it setup.
Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to make and once you do it, you’re good.
So if you use Mailgun for sending emails in GoHighLevel, get this setup ASAP if you want more of your emails reaching the inbox!
